Along with leg venous disorders, we also perfom problematic vein procedures on other areas of the body.
Chest Wall Veins
Many women have dilated, unsightly veins in their chest. They can occur as a consequence of aging and a thinning of the skin or following breast augmentation. We can easily clear the veins using vein light directed sclerotherapy. There is no downtime associated with the procedure and a single treatment is often all that is required.
Vaginal Varicose Veins
Vaginal varicose veins can occur during pregnancy and sometimes persist thereafter. The veins cause pain during intercourse and during the menstrual period. We are able to destroy the problematic veins using ultrasoud guided foam sclerotherapy. Patients are comfortably sedated for the procedure which takes less than 10 minutes. A single treatmet is usually all that is required.
Dilated veins in the face and nose are a common occurrence. We are able to clear the veins using a pulsed dye laser. There is no downtime associated with the procedure which takes less than 5 minutes. 2 to 3 treatments are required for full clearance.
Brown Discoloration on the Legs
The brown discolorations are commonly called sun spots or age spots. They are simply a collection of melanin in the skin. We are able to clear the discolorations using a combination of lasers. The treatment can be done at the same time as other vein treatments are performed. The treated areas will darken further before disappearing over 1 to 2 weeks. More than 1 treatment session may be required for full clearance.
